This course introduces students to how narcotics traffickers, criminal gangs and Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCO) utilize and exploit the financial system to generate, move, store and use their illicit proceeds from Specified Unlawful Activities (SUA). Students will learn basic and complex money laundering schemes, the building blocks of those schemes, and how to conduct a net worth analysis on a suspect.
