This course is designed to teach first responders how to treat and manage trauma patients in a tactical environment. Utilizing a mix of classroom presentation and hands-on skills practice, attendees will learn how to provide life-sustaining treatments in threatening environments. All course material is based on best practices from the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and the Committee on Tactical Emergency Care (TECC). The Western Regional Counterdrug Training Center provides all medical training supplies and training scenarios are tailored to the operational environment of course attendees.
