WA State Data Exchange for Public Safety - WADEPS Committee

The purpose of the WADEPS Committee is to help law enforcement agencies navigate the state's mandatory Washington Association Data Exchange for Public Safety (WADEPS) reporting system.

  • Providing Guidance: Clarifying exactly what use-of-force data and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) details must be reported.
  • Addressing Concerns: Gathering input from local departments to identify and resolve bottlenecks, technical difficulties, and community concerns.
  • Sharing Best Practices: Helping agencies understand compliance requirements without providing formal legal advice.
