What: The 2025 Wellness Challenge is an 8-week event where agencies across the state will compete to earn the most wellness points and be crowned the 2025 Wellness Champions.

At the end of each week each participating person will submit their score card for the week. Weeks will run Monday to Sunday and score cards must be submitted no later than the following Wednesday (example: Week 1-January 13-19 score card is due no later than January 22).

Family Wellness: Take time out during the week to make a connection with someone who is important to you. Earn 25 points for each connection.
Peer Support: Complete random acts of kindness during the week. Earn 25 points for each act.
Physical Fitness: Log your minutes of exercise for the week to earn points. 30-75 Minutes = 50 Points; 75-149 Minutes = 75 points; 150+ minutes = 100 points.
How will the winner be determined? Agencies will be grouped in small (0-50 TOTAL employees); medium (51-125 TOTAL employees) and large (126 or more TOTAL employees). We will average the scores for each agency (total individual scores divided by the number of participants). The agency with the highest average top score in each group will be the winner. The winner from each category will not only get bragging rights, but WASPC will provide each with a body composition smart scale by Oxiline and a plaque to hang on your wall!
Who can participate? Any Law Enforcement, Dispatch or Corrections agency in Washington State. Agencies are encouraged to promote some healthy competition within their agencies and give awards for top scoring individuals within your agency. Here are some prize ideas.
How to promote the challenge: We are asking agencies to designate at least one point of contact for the challenge. This can be done by completing this form. WASPC in partnership with Cordico will provide agencies with template emails and posters that can be used to generate some interest and then during the challenge remind folks to complete the tasks and submit their score cards.
Agencies are free to run the challenge within their agency in the way that works best for the agency. This can be individualized, or you can create teams and award prizes or bragging rights accordingly.
